When insured individuals – including international travelers, expatriates living and working in Vietnam, and their accompanying family members – require medical care, they can contact Prestige’s 24/7 assistance hotline. The call center will recommend a suitable hospital and assist with arranging cashless treatment (direct billing, no upfront payment required).
Additionally, Prestige’s staff can guide patients to hospitals included in the recommended provider network of the insurance company, provided that the treatment costs are covered by the voluntary international travel insurance program.

II. DIRECT BILLING SERVICE PROCESS FOR PRESTIGE INTERNATIONAL’S MEMBER AT BERNARD HEALTHCARE
When Prestige’s member visit Bernard Healthcare, the direct billing process will proceed as follows:
- Step 1: Member Eligibility
Recognize a Prestige’s member
Check member eligibility by operator
- Step 2: Consultation & Guidance
Our insurance officer will verify the available information via Prestige’s operator (Period of Insurance, Outpatient Direct Billing, Direct Billing Limit, Copayment / Coinsurance / Deductible……)
Member will be advised on the examination process and how to use direct billing services at Bernard Healthcare.
- Step 3: Medical Services
Member undergo examination and treatment at Bernard Healthcare
- Step 4: Billing Procedure
Process for services eligible for Direct billing
Process for Pre-authorization (if any)
- Step 5: Confirmation & Payment
Member will sign the documents related to their visit.
Member pay for any costs not covered by insurance or exceeding the coverage limits.
